Submission Guidelines for Health and Wellness Central Article Directory
HealthandWellnessCentral.com is free directory of high quality re-printable articles. Please
read the following guidelines and terms of service before submitting your work.
1. Article Submission
a. Submitting your articles to us is free. However, only health related articles are acceptable to this directory. If your article is non health-related, it will be automatically rejected.
b. You do not receive any financial compensation as a result of your contribution.
b. Before submitting your article, please make sure that your article is
not already submitted.
c. Submitting multiple copies of the same article using different titles,
or with only slight modifications is strictly forbidden.
d. Submit to only ONE relevant category per article. Submissions to multiple
categories will result in ALL your articles being removed, and in extreme
and repeated cases, banned from future submission. Also, if the content in your article is not appropriate to the category that it is submitted under, it stands being deleted.
e. If you are an author's assistant submitting on behalf of the author, you
must use the author's full name, the author's email address and other required
information.
2. Article Content
For your article to be accepted and published at HealthandWellnessCentral.com, the article:
a. Must be original and written by you. You may not submit articles written
by other authors and the content must be unique. No re-branded articles are
allowed. You must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit.
Articles written by a ghost writer are perfectly acceptable as long as they
are being used only by yourself.
b. Must be informative and share your own unique experience. Your article
should serve to educate and inform rather than just a promotional piece. Include
tips, strategies, techniques, case-studies, analysis, opinions and commentary
in your articles.
c. Must not be detrimental to the interests of society at large.
It must not contain information on: hacking/cracking content, bomb
creation, support for terrorism/ radicalism/ religious fanaticism, illicit
drugs or drug paraphernalia, weapon/ firearms/ ammunition/ balisongs/ butterfly
knives or brass knuckles, or the promotion of hard alcohol/tobacco-related
products or prescription drugs.
c. Must be grammatically correct. Please have your article proof read before
submitting.
d.Must not be offensive. Articles must not promote hate, racism, pornography,
hacking, and other illegal and/or offensive activities.
e. Must not contain direct affiliate links. Please see section 4 below for
more details.
f. Must not contain Pop-ups. Links in the article must not activate popups
when clicked.
g. Must not contain Javascripts. Javascripts in any form are not allowed.
h. Must not violate any Laws. Articles submitted must not infringe on trademarks, copyrights and anything that is against the Law.
3. Article Format
a. Title
i. The Article Title Must Be In Initial Caps.
ii. No Author or website name is allowed in the title.
iii. No HTML tags are allowed in the title.
iv. Do not put a "period" or "full-stop" at the end
of the title.
b. Body
i. The article must be 350 words minimum and 1000 words maximum. The ideal article size to us is between 400 to 800 words.
ii. Do not repeat the article title in the article body.
iii. Do not submit articles that are pre-formatted with excessive hard
carriage returns such as articles that are pre-formated to 60-65 characters
per line. The article text should flow continuously and wrap naturally.
To effect a new line, hit the "Enter" key once; to effect a new
paragraph, hit the "Enter" key twice to create a horizontal white
space.
iv. The following HTML tag is allowed in the article body:
Bold tag:

v. The following HTML tags are NOT allowed in the article body:
Italics tag:
<i> </i>
Underline tag:
<u> </u>
Indent tag:
<blockquote> </blockquote>
Paragraph tag: <p> </p>
Break tag: <br>
Image tag: <img src>
Font tag: <font> </font>
Header tag: <h1>, <h2>, <h3>, etc.
Horizontal Rule tag: <hr>
c. Author Name and Alternate Author Names
i. Your Full Author Name
In order to submit your articles, you will first need to create your "Author
Name". This serves as your public profile and identifies you as the
author of the article.
The author name must comprise of a Full First Name and a Last Name to minimise
confusion with some other authors with the same name.
ii. Alternate Author Names
We only allow ONE member account per person. However, you may have unlimited
"Alternate Author Names" under your account. This situation will
apply if you are an author assistant submitting articles on behalf of the
authors.
d. Website Links (See Section 4 below for more information)
i. Only a maximum of three links (active and inactive) of websites that
you own, control or have an interest in, are allowed per article.
ii. Please confine the links to the resource box.
iii. Do not include the same link or url more than once.
iv. You are encouraged to include the html codes for your website links.
v. Links or website url that are allowed in the article body include:
Special Case #1 - Well-Known Sites
You may include links to Google, CNN, Microsoft, etc. Publishers are familiar with these sites and will not feel that the author is engaging in advertising.
Special Case #2 - Multiple Competing Sites
You may include links to competitive sites if your article is a review or comparison of an industry or solution. You must include at least three competitors, with fully qualified links, and you must speak with some authority about each one. Your site (even though it is a self-serving link) may be included as one (1) of the competitive sites in the article.
Special Case #3 - Multiple Complementary Sites
You may include links to helpful resources around the web if your article is a “helpful resources” article. You must include at least three resources and they must be related in some way to the theme of the article. If you include (for example) a travel agency, a web template resource and the restaurant on the corner, the article must show how those three sites are related to help a reader solve a problem.
e. Article Summary
i. Every article must have an article summary. This serves as a brief overview
of your article and is used for listing purposes.
ii. You may use the first paragraph of your article as the article summary,
if you do not know what to put in there.
iii. No blatant self-promotions is allowed in the article summary.
iii. No HTML in whatever form is allowed in the article summary.
iv. No Author Name, Company Name, Website Address and/or Email Address
are allowed in the article summary.
4. Affiliate Programs and Affiliate Links
The articles that you submit to HealthandWellnessCentral.com should not contain affiliate
links. It is acceptable, however, to mention the website URL's of helpful sites
or your own website which has links to the recommended affiliate product.
5. Article submitted is subject to review and approval before being
published.
Finally, all articles submitted are subject to review and may be rejected for
any one of the reasons cited above. However, please note that we are not obliged
to provide you with any reasons when we reject your article.
