Knowing the early symptoms of cancer can help us get appropriate treatment quickly and prevent the cancerous cells from spreading throughout our whole body.

There are many kinds of cancer and therefore many warning signs of cancer. The following early symptoms of cancer are typical of a lot of cancers that you should generally know of.

Tumors should definitely be looked into as they can be early symptoms of cancer such as breast cancer. Breast cancer may also cause changes to the shape or size of nipples; discharge from the nipples; new marks around the nipples; swelling of the breast, nipples, armpits, or shoulders, extension of veins in the breast skin, and sores.

You should examine your skin changing moles and open wounds that resist healing. These can point to early symptoms of skin cancer.

Warning signs of lung cancer include chronic hoarseness and a persistent cough.

Changes in urine production, including excess urination, pain, slow flow, or blood in urine should be evaluated. Backache can also be a sign of prostate cancer.

Brain cancer is characterized by pain, numbness, loss of hearing, balance disorders, sight problems, and changes in mental function. Loss of function of some body parts is possible.

Digestive cancer can be made apparent by swallowing difficulties, feelings of fullness when not warranted, and aches can be symptomatic of cancer in the digestive system, such as stomach, throat, larynx, or esophagus cancer.

If you have changes in stool frequency and appearance, you need to check if these are signs of cancer in the intestines or rectum. If the stool is red, it may indicate blood. Black feces may indicate blood from the upper intestinal tract. Alternating diarrhea and constipation or mucus in the feces should also be noted as warning signs. Narrow, pencil like stool could indicate cancer as it is a sign of blockage in the system.

Abnormal bleeding from genital regions and lower limb ache may be indicative of vaginal, uterine, or cervical cancer.

Note any unusual marks on skin and in cavities such as lips, mouth, and genitals. Also, sores that do not heal, especially with irregular distribution of coloring or bleeding and dripping, should be evaluated immediately.
